Lincoln college chapel carved figures.

Restoration and re finishing work on the Eight bench end figures which represent Moses, Aaron, the four evangelists, St. Peter and St. Pau. The original figures are beautifully carved in Cedar wood.

Three of the figures (Moses, St. Paul and John the Evangelist) had missing hands that I first modelled in wax referencing the chapels stained glass windows to get the correct positions. Once happy I then carved the missing pieces on-site. The hands were then attached using period correct glues and stained to match.
